Prof. Yu-Chih Chiang
Yu-Chih Chiang is a full Professor and Head of Restorative and
Aesthetic Dentistry, and serves as Chair of the Oral Biomaterials
Core Lab at National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan.
Additionally, he holds the esteemed position of Director at the National Taiwan University Molecular Imaging Center. He earned his
Ph.D. in Dental Medicine from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), Germany, in 2009. Notably, he is a past-President of the Taiwan Academy of Operative Dentistry. His current research focuses on the development of multifunctional and designable biomaterials for regenerative medicine, specifically in the areas of dentin-pulp regeneration and vital pulp therapy. Additionally, his research encompasses studies on caries control, antimicrobial materials, de- and re-mineralization, adhesive dentistry science, fracture mechanics and Inlay/Onlay design. Furthermore, he serves as a speaker for numerous continuing education courses and international conferences, covering topics such as dental adhesion, cosmetic dentistry, direct resin composite fillings, cosmetic veneers, bonded ceramic restoration, and regenerative medicine.
